I live there, but even here if you don't want to know the truth and most of Israelis prefer not to think about it at all, until of course there is some unpleasant event. The main media do not show any of what is going on in the occupied territories, unless it is something very unusual or something that got caught by the camera and they cannot ignore it.
So, many who live outside Israel knows about the cruel military occupation, and the two law systems and life that developed in the same area, one for Jewish settlers and one for the Palestinians, living on their land, or trying to live there. There is no one aspect of their lives that is not badly affected by this double system, actually the settlers get what is taken from the Palestinians, lands, water, economy, development, and all this is intended since 1967, no matter what is the political party governing. The real body that decides in Israeli is the army.
