As a member of the generation who grew up having to finish all the food on her plate because not to do so was an insult to the starving Africans, I agree with him. Technically I could see it was an appalling thing, a child so thin from lack of food, but practically it wasn't really a part of my world and I wasn't reduced to tears. Bambi made me cry tho.
