Spot on Tommo, as I think any notion of being and doing what may be obscure enhances our self esteem. And certainly inside 'Knowledge' of the ultimate in the universe is an alluring and big slap on the back! (Being with the living perfect master of the time...what?) What could be more ego gratifying ?This is certainly a universal cult aspect.
( i may be dumb and unattractive but have the ultimate ... I think, er, I have that feeling..)

I have my measure of tequila in the eve... then stretch a bit, and my (not so) exclusive swim in the Salish sea keeps my ego afloat for now.
