You don't understand the situation: our governments have decided that Australia will switch to alternate environmentally sound energy so we have turned off or are turning off our cheap coal-based power stations and purchasing the new alternative technology from China, of course, and the only way Australia can afford to pay for this is by exporting huge amounts of coal and iron ore to China and this has to continue and expand for many years yet. The cost of the new power lines alone would bankrupt many countries.
Australia's contribution to "global warming" is and was basically nothing as there are only 25 million people here. The only reasons this insane roundabout is happening is: Actually I don't understand it.
