It was in Palm Desert, California at a real nice brand new Marriott Resort ... where REJOICE (one of the premie devotional reboots over the years) was going on I believe, if my memory serves [but why should it?]
Yes memory can play tricks. How 'bout a reality check, help me out... Palm Desert Rejoice was I believe in 1987 or 1988. Daya would have been 9 or 10 years old. Anyway, maybe that elevator was somewhere else and some years later. Uh... by the way how would you know there was nothing on under the coat? Was this a dream you had? And isn't Chris' dad's name not Steve, actually Fred? But it's a sweet story you tell; I always found Daya very kind and friendly and they a charming couple, likely a good marriage I'd guess and wish for them. Your story's kind of a charming love story, I don't know maybe not so utterly icky really, and moreover you're a charming guy OTS as everyone knows.
