In more ways than one.

I paid a lot of money to sleep in an ordinary tent and for the privilege of cleaning the loos!
The tent was uninhabitable after about 8 am.

I experienced a whole flood of drips there and not just due to the extreme heat. Watching all the managers totally fried and freaking out. So much petty power play and jostling for position. The absurd premies behaviour in Daya's fine dining, all the PAMs smoking cigars, the carniverous diet, the woman whose service it was to massage and pamper the fatted calf for his Lordship's barbecue, the sneaky instrumental 'arti' the proper full on Darshan, the stretch limos picking up the major donors at the airport whilst we mere mortals were crammed in the back of a pick up, the old friend who couldn't even greet me because she was so upset by some bad publicity. The palpable fear everywhere... I could go on and on.
This was 1997 and I was out within a year or so.
I managed to enjoy it only because of the extraordinary wild life and the amazing presence of those twin peaks and a few decent people with a sense of humour. Especially the guys who came to empty the sewerage tanks.

There was a whole load of shit there..
