Pat was a remarkable, witty man. He had endless intellectual curiosity. He was a steadfast friend and a very important, vibrant contributor to this forum. His business in San Francisco did suffer and he was a main target of the hate campaign driven by the cult. The move north was really good for him and for his family. Pat kept writing and engaging with people from all over the world when he moved away from his active participation here. We were strengthened by his caring, thoughtful posts, and by his friendship.
