It was 1988 and I was hating local satsangs(I was in South London).
At the programs, when people arrived they would sit in silence watching a slide show of Rawat and nothing else. Then at the appointed hour a video was switched on. At the end people would get up and leave. Hardly anybody spoke to anyone there, even though many of the people knew each other for years.
(of course everyone was trying to be in holy name..and that meant no chit chat..etc.)
I tried writing to rawat,never an answer.
So I decided to write to Prem Nagar(which was BBJ's)and ask if they could send me some satsangs of Sarupanand (I had everything of hans's and prem's).Anyway, I actually got a reply, which I found today whilst trying to sort out my eternal pile of papers.
