Shines Out Of His ...
Photographers and film-makers who were devotees of Prem Rawat
(Maharaji) , or Guru Maharaj Ji as he called himself in the 1970's, had
a strange obsession. They would film Rawat as if he emanated light from
his face and head or had a halo. Sometimes this was done using special
effects and other times through the use of lighting or the angle of the
sun.
I can even remember one Divine Light Mission Australian premie involved
in film, Malcolm Davey, while giving satsang,
(ie making an extemperaneous speech about Rawat), turning
around and pointing to the huge picture of the young Rawat over the
altar on the wall behind him saying that He just naturally shone and it
wasn't trick photography
and and after all Rawat was a sweaty teenager with an oily skin so
maybe it was true.
But the Light never dies. Guru Maharaj Ji is always in the world to bestow Knowledge of God on the true devotee.
As he sheds one mortal body, he takes another.
People might think that I am an Indian (click for video)
so we shouldn't receive the Knowledge.
You know, you are not receiving me. If you are receiving me then yes
you can have a duality in your heart of, you know, black and white but
you are not receiving me, you know,
so there is no question of black and white. You are receiving my
Knowledge, Knowledge hasn't got any colour.
